Q. Where are
you located?
A. Our corporate headquarters
are located in Dallas, TX. However, we have shop locations
across the country. Your arrangement will be
delivered or shipped by the shop located nearest to the destination zip
code. Refer to the key for our locations at the top of the
home page.
Q. What ingredients
are in your sugar cookies and gourmet cookies?
A. Our sugar cookies contain: wheat flour, sugar, partially
hydrogenated soybean oil, cottonseed oils. water, egg whites, egg
yokes, corn starch, whey, mono-and diglycerides, soy lecithin, beta
carotene, artificial flavor, citric acid, propylene glycol,
benzaldehyde, vanillin, gum.
Some shops may use almond flavoring that contains almond oil. Check with the processing shop for specific information about nut oil in our almond flavoring.
Our icing contains vegetable shortening (partially
hydrogenated soybean oil and cottonseed oil), water, egg whites,
sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonium alum, food starch, salt, gum arabic,
cellulose gum, artificial flavor, citric acid, propylene glycol,
benzaldehyde, vanillin, and gum. Some shops may use almond flavoring that contains almond oil. Check with the processing shop for specific information about nut oil in our almond flavoring.
Some of our gourmet cookies may contain nut oils. Our peanut butter cookies contain peanuts and peanut oil. Our macadamia nut cookies contain macadamia nut oil. Our chocolate chip with pecans or walnuts contain pecan or walnut oil.
Q. Do you have a catalog?
A. Yes. If you would like
to receive one of our catalogs, please call the shop closest to
you. We frequently add new cookie designs and new
specialty containers to our poduct line. We have many more
selections available than those pictured in our catalog or on
our website. We can do almost anything; just ask!

Our Cookie Gifts
Q. Your cookie arrangements beautiful, but do they really
taste good?
A. Our cookies are baked fresh
daily. Everyday we sift our flour, crack our eggs, and use
fresh wholsome ingredients to ensure that you receive the tastiest cookies possible.
Our decorated cookies are an almond flavor shortbread with a butter cream icing.
Each of our cookies is hand decorated by our cookie artists.
Q. How long are your cookies fresh?
A. Our cookies are baked fresh
daily. To ensure the highest quality, we recommend that they be consumed within
2 weeks of receipt. They can also be frozen to preserve their freshness. Our cookies
do not contain any preservatives.
Q. Will the cookies break during
shipping?
A. We guarantee crumble-free
delivery. They will not crumble or break under normal circumstances. Each of our
cookies is individually wrapped and then packed in a shipping box with bubble wrap
and/or newsprint. To stabilize our gifts, the shipping boxes are custom designed
for our cookie arrangements.
Q. How big are your cookies?
A. Our decorated cookies are
about the size of your hand. Some of our shapes are larger than others; most
are about 4 to 6 inches tall. Our gourmet cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal rasinetc.) are offered
in various sizes. The most common size is a 2-ounce cookie which is about 3 inches
in diameter.
Q. What flavors do you offer
in your gourmet cookies?
A. Flavors may vary a little
between our different franchised shops. However, most of the locations bake
chocolate chip, chocolate chip with nuts, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, double
chocolate, white chocolate chip with macadamia nuts, snickerdoodle, sugar, and oatmeal
chocolate chip with nuts. Some of our novelty flavors are strawberry iced, lemon
iced, turtles, rocky road, and brownies.
Q. Do you offer custom baskets?
A. Yes, all of our locations
are more than happy to help you customize your special arrangement in anyway that
you would like. Our motto is: MADE TO ORDER - WE CAN DO ANYTHING - JUST ASK! Many of our corporate
customers like having their logo on a cookie in the arrangement.
Q. How will my
gift look when it arrives?
A. The gift photos shown online are accurate
depictions of what your gift will look like when your recipient opens his/her package.
Most of our gifts are wrapped in a cellophane bag or shrink-wrap and are finished with
a large bow. Each gift also includes an enclosure card with your message. The gift
will arrive in a large shipping box packed with bubble-wrap and/or blank newsprint.
Please keep in mind that ocassionally, it may be necessary for us to substitute items of equal
or greater value than those shown online. We always try to use an item with a similar
theme or genre. No refunds will be issued for an item that we had to replace. During
the warm summer months, substitutions will be made for meltable chocolates.
Q. What if I am not satisfied with something I receive with?
A. We guarantee that you will be satisfied
with our products. If you are unhappy with an arrangement, please call, email, or
fax the location that delivered or shipped the arrangement to you. Problems must
be reported to us within one week of shipment receipt in order for the guarantee
to be valid. Be sure to have your order number.
- If your order arrives damaged, we will
send a replacement or issue a refund for the gift cost (excluding shipping charges). Save the damaged items and the box in which they were contained.
- Whether or not to issue a call tag to
pick up your damaged arrangement is up to the individual COOKIES IN BLOOM store.
- If your guaranteed air shipment arrives
late due to a delay with our shipping carrier (UPS, FedEX, or Airborne Express),
your originally charged credit card will be credited for 100% of the air shipping
charges.
- Orders sent to an incorrect
or incomplete address are not guaranteed when the customer has given us that address.

Q. How do I place an order?
A. You may call the individual locations direct if you are
interested in cookies that are not pictured on our website. Again, we have many
more choices, if you don’t see exactly what you are looking for on our website. If you have any questions at all, please call the store direct.
To place an order online just click on the "buy now" button after you have made your
selection.
Q. I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card information
over the internet. How can I place an order?
A. We use the latest in security technology to insure that
your sensitive information is protected. However, you may also call any of our locations
directly.
Q. I have a large order and need to ship to multiple addresses.
What is the easiest way to do this?
A. You can ship right here on our website. Our site is set
up to take multiple addresses. You click on the arrangement you want and then you
choose the shipping method and then you put in the address. Then by clicking "Continue
Shopping" button you can go and choose another arrangement and do the whole process again.
Q. What happens after I place an order?
A. Your shipping information and billing information are
sent to the shop that is closest to the shipping address and an email is sent to
you to confirm your order. The shop that processes your order will bill you. If you have multiple locations city destinations where more than one shop processes your order, you credit card statement will reflect charges from each of the processing shops.
Q. What if I do not receive an order confirmation via email?
A. There are several reasons this could happen. 1.) Your email system believed the email confirmation was spam and rejected it. 2.) Your email system believed the email confirmation was spam and sent it to your bulk folder. Or 3.) It was a faulty email address, such as you may have mixed the letters or name, in which case our system tried to send it to the email address provided, but was unable to.
Q. How do I find out the status of my order?
A. You can refer to the telephone number that is located
on your invoice.
Q. Can I cancel an order?
A. If your order has not already been delivered , shipped,
or personalized, we can cancel it. To do so, please contact the location that is
handling your arrangement. If the item has been delivered or shipped, we cannot cancel
your order.

Payments
Q. What methods of payment are accepted?
A. Most of our locations accept Visa, Master Card, Discover,
and American Express. If you are personally in a store, you may obviously pay with
cash or personal checks.
Q. Do you offer corporate discounts?
A. Yes, we do offer corporate discounts. You will have to
speak directly with the location that will be handling your order. The amount of
discount varies depending on the number of arrangements ordered.
Q. Can you invoice me?
A. We require individuals to use a credit card, cash or check if in the store. If you are ordering for a company, you
can set up a corporate account once you have filled out the corporate account application.
(subject to approval). You will receive an application from the franchised location
that processes your order. Please remember that each of our shops is individually
owned.
Q. Is it safe to use my credit card online?
A. We use the latest in security technology to insure that
your sensitive information is protected. However, you may also call any of our locations
directly.

Shipping Options
Q. Do you offer same day delivery?
A. Yes, if we have a shop location in the city or the very
near vicinity to where you want your want your arrangement delivered. Please call the shop directly to confirm your delivery.
Many factors can affect the likelihood of your arrangement being delivered the day
that you place your order.. We are not a wire service; therefore, we do not refer
your request to other shops or businesses. We are a franchise; therefore, we only
use other COOKIE IN BLOOM locations. Remember that our arrangements are all custom
just for you. We do not use pre baked or pre decorated cookies. They are all made
just for you.
Q. Do you ship to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, or anywhere outside
the U.S.?
A. We do ship to Hawaii and Alaska. Your arrangement must
be shipped 2nd day or next day air delivery. If you wish to ship the order yourself, we will be happy to package
your arrangement for you. The charge for the
packing is $7.00.
Q. Do you ship to hospital patients?
A. We hand deliver to hospital patients every day
Q. Do you ship to hospital patients when hand delivery is not available?
A. No, We recommend that you ship the package to the patient’s
home or to a family member or friend that can take it to the hospital. Our carriers (UPS, Federal Express, DHL and USPS)
must deliver to the hospital loading dock. It is then up to the hospital staff to get it
to the patient. Unfortunately, most of the packages never get to the patient.
Q. Do you deliver to a PO or APO BOX?
A. Unfortunately our carriers cannot deliver to a PO or APO
Box.
Q. What are the shipping options?
A. You may choose ground shipping which takes 2 to 4 business
days depending on destination. This is assuming that your arrangement is shipped
from our location that is closest to your destination zip code. When you place an
order on line, your order is automatically routed to the shop closest to the destination
zip code.
We have locations scattered around the entire continental
U.S. No ground shipment should take longer than 4 days.
2 to 3 day air shipping and overnight air shipping are also available.
- Ground shipping is $18.00
- 2 to 3 day shipping
is $25.00
- Overnight shipping
is $49.00
If your ground shipment is scheduled to arrive in 2 or 3
days, we would recommend that you not spend the extra money to ship it 2 to 3 day
air shipment.
Q. What is a business day?
A. A business day is Monday thru Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays ARE NOT considered business days.
Q. When does my order need to be placed to ship on the same day?
A. Please refer to the chart for on line ordering regarding
the exact day that your arrangement will be available to be shipped. We do have
limited designs that are available to be shipped on the same day. Because most of our arrangements are custom made only when you order, please allow at least 24 hours for your cookie icing to dry prior to shipment.
Call the store closest to your destination zip code to find
out what designs can be shipped that day.
GREAT CHOICE: Our gourmet cookies can always be shipped the
same day. Our pretty baskets make a great gift selection. We can do any size or
price you would like.
Q. Do you deliver on Saturday?
A. We can hand deliver on Saturdays where we have a local
shop. For arrangements that must be shipped, Saturday and Sunday are not regular delivery days for UPS and Fed. EX. They will delivery on Saturday, but they charge an extra fee of $15.00 for a Saturday delivery. This fee does not apply to cities where our locations offer local delivery. Deliveries, shippers or pick up orders are not available on Sundays.
Q. Why is air shipping so expensive?
A. Shipping charges are based on the size of the shipping
box (not the actual weight) and the speed at which it is delivered (1, 2 or 3 day).
Our gift baskets are large which means the air shipping is expensive.
Q. If I order more than one item is there a discount on shipping?
A. Not normally. Because we normally cannot fit more than
one basket in a shipping box, our shipping charges are per gift. Gifts going to
separate addresses are obviously shipped in separate boxes which also means that
shipping is per gift. Sometimes more than one gourmet arrangement can be shipped together in one box.
Q. When will the recipient receive their gift?
A. Each of our gifts is baked, decorated, and
shipped from a franchised COOKIES IN BLOOM shop. Your order's delivery date is
based on the destination zip code. Our carriers will deliver ground shipments to homes between 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Business deliveries will be delivered between 8:00 AM and the close of the business day.
NOTE: During our peak seasons (Christmas and Valentine’s
Day) , processing time may take longer. Please order early!
Q. Are the delivery dates guaranteed?
A. Ground shipment delivery dates are not guaranteed because
our ground carries do not guarantee them. They give an approximate delivery date.
2nd AND 3RD day air shipments are guaranteed to arrive within 2 to 3 business
days of the ship date. Next day air shipments are guaranteed to arrive by the next
business day afternoon. If an air shipment is late, we will issue a credit for the
shipping cost.
Q. What will happen if I give an incorrect shipping
address for my recipient or an incorrect delivery address?
A. Please be certain of your complete address before placing
your order. We pass along our third party carriers fee of $10.00 for any mistake
on an address. This charge will be on your credit card statement as a separate charge.
Make sure that you include an apartment or suite number if applicable.
The carriers will charge the $10.00 fee for this as well.
Your gift will probably not be delivered when you requested, if you have supplied
an incorrect or incomplete address. If a gift is returned to us because of an address
mistake, we will reship the gift to you or a corrected recipient address. You will
be charged for the additional shipping fees. If you would like for us to replace
the cookies with fresh ones, we will be happy to do that for an additional charge.
Q. I want to use 2 to 3 shipping. Is there a chance it
will get there in one day?
A. Yes, Our third party carriers can, at their discretion,
delivery a day early. To be absolutely certain that your gift won’t arrive a day
early, you would have to utilize overnight air shipping.
Q. Does FED EX or UPS require a signature for delivery?
A. Gifts that are sent to businesses require a signature.
Gifts being shipped to residential addresses are normally delivered with no signature
required. At the driver’s discretion, he will either leave the package in a
safe place at the home or leave notice of the delivery attempt with contact information.
We assume no responsibility for packages that are left at the delivery address at the driver’s discretion.
